About this course

Business/Economics: The course sets out to stretch the minds of the students for financial literacy and entrepreneurship. The student will get an understanding of what the Hebrew Scriptures have to say about Finances and Business; and these principles will be applied throughout the duration of the course. The Student will learn the importance of credit, budgeting, and different types of income. The Student will also learn several different types of business models and their risks. The student will learn the difference between need and want based businesses, products and services based business. The student will create a business plan and marketing strategy for a mock home-based business. Most importantly the student will understand the importance of patience to grow a successful business.

Roshanda L. Jones, is a wife of 15 years, with 6 beautiful children. Currently she is an Accounts Payable Associate with a Metro Detroit Construction Company and also owns a business educating and improving American’s credit and finances. She also trains and mentors new business professionals in starting Credit Restoration Businesses across the United States. She comes from a family of Entrepreneurs. Following the path of her Grandfather, Father, and uncle's footsteps in entrepreneurship; Roshanda launched her first business with a best friend in 5th grade. Ever since then she has been pressing the importance of having multiple streams of income and the ability to take your craft and or gifts to service the communities we live in. She looks forward to imparting these young people and stretching their capacity to dream; while encouraging them to never be afraid of failure, however be afraid to never try. ...
